windshield defroster -- driver side not working
 

HI folks, I have a '95 993. The defroster for the front windshiled blows ust fine on the passenger side, but nothing comes out on the driver side. Any ideas what causes it and if there's a reasonably straightforward DIY fix? TIA

No air.

Servo is likely stuck shut. Did you have a chance to look at the link?

Or your fan has quit? I think there is one per side....

Do you get air at the footwell on the passenger side?

I get air everywhere, even the windshield, except when I push the defrost button! So, if I just turn on the heat it get driver side defrost and heat everywhere in the car, but if I turn on the defrost button the fan goes up to 4 and shuts off the lower vents, but only blows air on the passenger side. Very bizarre.

I looked at the link, but have not had a chance to look at my car's setup.
