OBC tach swap?

What are the chances a OBC tach can be swapped in a car that has a non OBC tach? My tach has some pant chipping on the face and I was thinking why not just upgrade to a OBC tach. I know there must be some wiring missing to run the OBC but maybe not?

Thanks
Mike

If it is a 964 you have all the wiring. The only one left is the exterior temperature sensor.

I have a 92 964 so all the wiring that is needed is for the exterior temperature sensor? If that is the case, updating to the OBC will be easy.

thanks
Mike
