Changing Cylinder Temp. Sensor

Is it possible to change the cylinder temperature sensor with the engine in the car or do I have to drop the engine to get to the sensor?

Does anyone have a picture or instructions?

Thank you.

You may be able to reach the sensor with a partial engine drop. This is documented elsewhere but basically you disconnect everything on the top of the engine - oil lines, gas lines, electrical harness, power steering (if equipped), cooling ducts, and a few vacuum lines. Then with the engine supported by a roller jack, loosen the engine mounts and you should get 6-12 inches of drop. Be sure to block the engine, don't trust the jack and make sure the wheels cannot roll.

Oh, and I'll gladly take your old sensor because I need the oval grommet.

Thanks,

Mark
