C4 suspension change VIN cutoff?

Hiya! Can anyone enlighten me as to what the VIN cutoff for the suspension change in the 1990/91 C4 is? I'm shopping for one, but I'd prefer the later suspension as there seem to be more options for it.

Thanks!

Hi

I answered this question on the original thread in the 911 tech forum.

Thanks fryardds. I was really hoping to be able to tell if a candidate car was early or late without having to do the "Well, does it look like X, or Y?" dance with the owner.

Here's a link to the other thread for FutureMe:

Tire Rack. Koni Yellow unavailable for cars before 10/90.

Yeah, sadly the only 'sure' way to tell is visually. Adrian Streather has spoken to this also - there's no solid cutoff date since some cars that 'shouldn't' have the earlier bits on them, do.

Again, no big deal. Bilstein HD, H&R coilover, and KW Variant all work on the early suspension.
