'90 C2 964 short shifter
Anyone have a good procedure for installing a short shifter in an early C2, please? Would prefer to install the RS shifter. Thanks, John

That's a good write up but it’s for a ’92 or newer 964. When I installed the short shifter in our '91 I had to fit the later bush to make it work. Here’s some pics of what I mean. Not hard at all used a saws all and a file.

Thank you. Other than installing the later bush, the procedure is as noted in the article that Bill provided?

Yes. The shifter I installed had heim joints instead of the plastic cups, but used the same procedures.
