My 1992 964 has 21,000 km in it and drives immaculately except for its airconditioner that goes off mysteriously and comes on again after a while, This woud not cause any problem in cool or mild weather but here in our country where it is hot, the inside turns into a sauna when the a/c turns off even foe 5 minutes. I thought it was caused by a defective ignition switch which was suggested by a Porsche mechanic. But after changing the ignition switch, the problem still persists, Anybody's help is appreciated. Thanks

I'd get a new fan relay. They tend to overheat with age and start to fail.
