I called the guy a few weeks ago, he said it was his late fathers old car. I won the ebay auction for it but it didnt reach the reserve. I contacted him over Ebay, to get to know the reserve and if he would let it go for that, tried also to email on the craigslist ad about the video with the car running. Never got a reply from him so I bought another car.
I think the car is correctly priced, IF the respray is good and IF it runs as it should. The tip and the lack of interest from the seller are the only reasons this car has not sold. Regards, Johan

I had a couple txt conversations -- but he never answered the questions I had asked. I didn't see any mention of a respray. My wife doesn't like black -- but I do -- but I don't want the tip, she does. so looks like I'll pass. Mike

He was pretty open about the respray when I called him. Apparently it was done to a very high standard. I think he said they had left it to a Porsche dealership? But you never know with resprays, you have to see them live to make sure it looks ok.
If I were closer I might have checked it out, it is a really good deal for maybe $22k, I hope someone here scoops it up. On second thought it is a ok deal even for the asking price.... Regards, Johan
