Flywheel pulse sensor mount bracket pics wanted

I've been trying to buy one but no luck, so I may as well make one from a billet.
I just need a couple pics to get a general idea of shape so I can be sure it won't clash with gearbox when I eventually install the 3.6 engine I'm building in my 88Carrera.
Pics of bracket only or with sensor mounted on engine are OK.

TIA

Pulse Sender

Here is a picture of my mounted pulse sender. It may be the same mounting method as yours.

Lou, that's the sensor itself, it's the mounting bracket that I'm looking for.
Mark's got it, thanks.

I'm in the process of rebuilding my 964 - 3.6, and the sensor is shoved in a hole in the bell housing and held in place with 1 bolt thru the small flange.

Lou,
What you are describing is how it's mounted on a tiptronic I think. As far as I'm aware, the manual boxes have it mounted to the crankcase using a bracket as per Mark's pic.

Could be right - my P-car is a '90 TIP.

Certainly not worth spending hours making one at that price.

There is also this little baby if you have an extra $200+ in your pocket:

That Brombacher part is an interesting idea. I never considered the possibility of building in additional advance by repositioning the sensor.
Interesting idea, I guess it works, but I would have thought it easier to play with advance using ECU mapping. But then I am a real newbie on this subject - still way down at the bottom of the learning curve with regard to setting up my MS3X.

No ECU mapping in our cars, just a sealed unit that has digital spark trigger circuitry fed by analog inputs such as engine temp, air inlet temp, and throttle position. Also a mechanical input for boost pressure. No one knows how these inputs affect the spark timing or dwell; at least no one I have been able to speak with (Andial, Ruf, Motronic, etc.).

If someone has a dead EZ69 unit, I would quickly volunteer to do an autopsy on it to learn how it was put together and what the advance and retard limits might be.
