Road Trip - 2011 PCA Escape, Flagstaff, AZ.

Greetings,

I'm embarking on a road trip through the Southwestern USA with the wife. We're taking 2 Porsche's on the road (a 2000 Boxster and a 1990 Carrera 2) from Lake Forest, CA. to Flagstaff, AZ. (470 miles) for the 2011 PCA Escape and then onto Rio Rancho, NM. (370 miles) for the 2011 Balloon Fiesta, in Albuquerque, NM.

Are there any other's traveling from California to Arizona for the 2011 PCA Escape, in Flagstaff, AZ.?

Porsche Club of America's Escape 2011 - Home - Hosted by the Arizona Region PCA

Welcome to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta

We are also permanently moving to New Mexico, so this trip is also an excuse to drive 2 Porsche's over to New Mexico and enjoy some PCA activities along the way. We've always wanted to drive the Porsche's up to and around the Grand Canyon, so it's a 'bucket list' check off as well.

I'll consider your suggestion but where is 'Black Barts' and 'Little America?'

I just got it. Little America is the Hotel in Flagstaff where the PCA Escape is gathering for the weekend. I'm not staying there, so the name was unfamiliar. I'll be sure to check out 'Black Barts' now that I'm clued in to it's location.

Make sure you drive highway 89a from Flag to Sedona, its one of the most beautiful roads in America. Its also a great Porsche road.

It was recommended to drive that route from Arizona, northward to Flagstaff. It's now the chosen path for this excursion. 'Q400driver' - Thanks for the recommendation.
