Electric Blower Fan Run On

The engine bay electric blower(97 993 Cab) has a habit of running on long after the engine is switched off (an Hour!) even if the engine is not warm. As a result I am getting a flat battery on occasions (battery and charger good, checked) This happens regardless of the dash board heater control setting.

If I pull the double relay mounted in the electrical box inside the engine bay on the left the fan stops. I tested the relay and it's working fine.

What senders are connected to the relay and where are they mounted? What are their operating parameters?
Any ideas?

Cancel that help.

The problem was a sender mounted on the air ducting. The sender is right in front of you as you look at the ducting, just to the right of the box with the relay. The connector for the cable had not been pushed home properly resulting in an intermittent contact.

Problem solved. Oh that they were all that easy.
