964 quarter window removal

I would appreciate advice on removing 964 quarter window,
because I plan to replace the lower black moulding,
which has a couple of "bubbles".

I removed all the windows in mine prior to repaint. Those quarter window seals are glued in. It is pritty much impossible to remove them without cutting the rubber seal and replacing it. If you can maticulusly sand and paint the trim you might be better off or leave it alone.

Hey guys , the 964 1/4 rear glass is should not be glued in, just rubber seal, it may two poeple to the safefuly , one person on the side of the car holding the glass while the other is in side pushing out but ,the person inside should fold down the rubber seal so that it is pulled away from the pinch, start at the rear corner , you may have o push very hard , and to reinstall all you need is a thin nylon rope,

On my 91 it had a sh**t load of glue on driver side only. Pass side only had a little.

Air bag cars have glued in windows, even though the seals are rubber.
