964 fuel tank removal help

hello anyone out there ever remove a 964's fuel tank? I have the top figured out but was wondering how to go about the rest? do you have to go underneath and undo the engine lines? thank for any help ronnie

Check out this Evaporator DIY since it requires removing the gas tank.

I would add that it isn't necessary to remove the fuel pump. Just disconnect the hose running from the fuel tank to the fuel pump and the return fuel line. Also, this is a good time to replace the vapor line running from the vent valve to the plastic vent line under the car.
