Green gaskets are base gaskets. Your head gaskets are useless to you unless you change cylinders and shave the heads for late style seal which is when the metal gaskets are used. As far as I know, they make only one gasket set to fit all the styles.

thanks! flat!
..for heads..i have idea to fit the copper gaskests up cilinders carrera 3.2/turbo3.3...i suppose if 95mm bore (pistons) the internal diameter is over 95mm (97/100) same 100 mm diameter 3.6....its good?

now for stop oil leak...(i think)))..i fit supertec studs + liquid gasket by Reinz (on heads)

964 head studs

How did your rebuild work out? I'm especially interested in how head seal is working. Did you use the Supertech studs? My 1990 C4 cab. project is going very slowly.

hi/ciao, i rebuild the 3.6 for fit on my 3.2 cabrio...but the engine is very good but early style...2 studs are "cut"...i buyed the supertech, my final idea for oil leak is:
-supertech studs
-liquid gasket by reinz on head
-green gaskest up cilinders

also my project very slowly, because in my "workshop" ,It's cold here in northern Italy)))
