Cab alignment and cable access
 

Hi. I have a 1990 C4 Cab. The top stopped working. I removed the bolts that secure the arms to the top's trans. At first the trans would turn but now they don't (either side). The motor still works.

Can someone tell me how to access the cable and motor behind the rear seats? I took out the carpet but then am faced with that foam padding which appears to be glued down - I can't image I need to rip that off?

Also, since we're on the subject, can someone also tell me where the top's control module is and what it looks like? I heard its under the drivers footwell, up and to the left?
