Porsche Crest 911 (964) Turbo 3.8 is it the best ever made

911 (964) Turbo 3.8 i was told it was the best turbo ever made excluding the New turbo
your thoughts as i own an 911 sc and use it only for trackdays so i thought i might as well upgrade to a turbo

please your thoughts

This is certainly the best of the "classic" turbo line. But I think the 993 twin turbo is a better overall package.

Weren't 964 Turbos made in 3.3 and 3.6 versions?

3.8 964 RSR was naturally aspirated, too I think.

The 3.6 964 turbo is an AWESOME car! It responds to a few mods that makes it as fast a street car as one would care to go. Lots of fun, decent ride, great handling, and good looks.

Hello

The 965 Turbo S versions had only been sold to "solid" costumers. The 3,8 is maybe the most buming street turbo ever. The 993 has more Power but the AWD and the softer Powerlayout make it much easyer drivable.

The first 965 3,3 are a bit to underpowered for the money.

UUHhmm how do I put this? the Turbo 965 3.6 is the only car I'd trade up to from my lowly 964. the turbo has all the guts and good looks that make this body style, the last of the breed
