Who makes 17" wheels?
I bought a set of Cup II wheels to refinish for my 1990 C4. One of them has a crack that I am going to try to have repaired. Unfortunately I also stupidly bought tires for them, so now I have a full set of Direzza ZII in 17" sizes sitting there and waiting for the wheel repair. If I can't repair the wheel, though, it seems hard to find a replacement.
So, I may as well start my research now: What other wheels are available in 7Jx17et55 and 9Jx17et55 (or close enough to space to the 55mm offset)? |

the cup 2 wheels are a dime a dozen.
should be relatively easy to find one. repair should be straightforward, as well. ND, the rags to riches state, no? i used to live just north, in Manitoba. Many ND friends. The Rolla area. : ) |

I haven't found that they're a dime a dozen at all, unfortunately. Wheel Enhancement's price is $1,000 each, for instance. eBay doesn't have a lot go through and, when they do, they're full sets or they are replicas with incorrect offsets.
And yes, I'm a native Nodak. Fantastic state, once the oil transients find their way back out as they did in our previous oil booms. |

I got my full set for a good price. If only the one hadn't been cracked...

Anyone have ideas for other appropriate 17x9 and 17x7 wheels? I'm not finding a lone 17x9 Cup II or a full set of them for sale at the moment, with a couple of overpriced exceptions.
