turbo springs/struts/shocks on non-turbo

Greetings,

I am working on getting some specs together for a suspension upgrade for my 92' C2. From looking at the Bilstein part numbers, they are the same for both turbo and non-turbo models. The H&R spring part numbers, however, are different. From what I can gather, the turbo springs are somewhat stiffer. I have driven a car (only on the street) with a similar setup, which used non-turbo springs, and definitely felt I could live with something a little more aggressive. Now, for the questions:

1) Can I use the turbo springs and will this improve performance?
2) Is there a "cost equivalent" alternative other than Bilstein/H&R that I should look at?
3) Would duplicating the European RS spec suspension be a better option and where can I find the parts necessary (and part numbers) to do this?

Many thanks for any help you can offer!

If you plan on tracking the car, I'd go with Eibach's.

The H&R's are progressive, which is a great compromise for the street. Gives you a nice ride.

But for the track, you really don't want progressive. You want them stiff right now.
