Bad hall sensor
 

I am looking for a used distributor for my 964 with a working hall sensor, anyone has one for sale?

I should have bought one 5 years ago when they used to be still very cheap. They are so expensive now even used.

I am looking at retrofitting a 944S2 hall sensor on our distributor. I have not had the motivation yet as everything still works on my 1993. (Knock on wood!)

Having owned a 944 S2, I have replaced the hall sensor inside the distributor assembly on mine and it looks very similar to my 1993 964 dsitributor hall sensor when I replaced the twin dizzy belt.

Here is a picture. I still have the old 944 S2 hall sensor in my parts bin. When I get a chance, I will compare it with the 964.
