Rocker Panel Welting Sinking...

'90-964-C4-Cabriolet

The welting (Mostly on the passenger side) between the rocker panel and the main body panel is gradually sinking into that space.

Is there a way to "retrieve" it and reposition it or should I just pull it out and affix new welting?

Must be some folks here who have had the same issue, I'm Sure!

Any help would be Greatly Appreciated!

Best Regards,

Tony

It could be glued/siliconed in place but its relatively cheap for a Porsche part and face it, its 25 years old. Make sure you order new clips and pins to reinstall as they are brittle and break easily

Also make sure you undo the screw at the front and the nut at the rear
