How To re-create OE Undercoating On 993 Turbo S Tectyl or Wurth?

I had to do some work in the fuel pump area and would like to re-create the waxy "cosmoline" covering applied at the factory (see attached photo). After reading countless forums I can't seem to pinpoint which product will exactly duplicate this process/color/thickness/look/protection.

Some sources say Tectyl 846 and others say Wurth 0892080.

Basically what I am wondering, does anyone know what product the factory was using in 97' for there protective undercoating.

Also as you see, this stuff was laid on pretty thick. Any tips on how to lay it down in the same way.

Finally any good sources for small quantities?

Thank You.

You wont recreate the color/thickness, as it has aged and the color changes.. and the thickness is a toss-up as no two will be alike. As far as which to use.. youll need to buy both and see what replicates the best.. this changed sometimes like many things at Porsche during manufacturing.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it, since it sits behind the trap door anyway.
