What are they ?
IT doesn’t look like the center-bore will take a porsche crest ? I’m a fan of 17” cup1s , or azev type-A and ruf speedlines as a “period” aftermarket alternative . Sport classics look good too , but 18” turbo twists suit a coupe 964 to a tee and are factory wheels that look factory . I’ve had a set of 18” “unobtainium” speedlines for maybe 20 years now , and they look good . But are terrible to keep clean , and Allthough once looked “rare” plenty are now running imitations . Are there any options TODAY for 17” wheels that are NEW?
I really do not want to go to 18” as I think they worsen the handling. I saw the Cup 1 replica but I am afraid they are boat anchors (heavy) |

I’ve just found a set of authentic BBS RS 257/258 that I am refinishing for my 964.
I will be selling the OEM Cup1s shortly. Please PM me if you’re interested in those wheels - they’re in great shape and straight. Chris |

Have a 964 C4 with 17 OEM cup wheels. Went to front 225/45 tires w a 5 mm spacer recently, felt it was a positive change.
Do consider - lower profile always effects ride slightly, esp if it is a daily driver. |

Cup 1 replicas, although Cup 2's look great.

Fuchs are great for a classic look, in my opinion. As a bonus, they are surprisingly light weight too.
https://www.fuchsfelgeusa.com/product/fuchs-wheels-silver/ I’m currently on a set of 17” Cup 2’s and every time I look at Cup 1’s that come up for sale, I think I’d rather spend that kind of money on some new Fuchs.

BBS Motorsport = Best of best all time.
Since most of the RS / Porsche / Speedlines are costly or nla and the BBS mag e2_s are gone, I always suggest a set of BBS E87 17". They run about ~4K$ set which is really a value option. If you run larger brakes, go nuts later on suspension etc, they will allow flexibility being 3 peice wheels. ![]() Hi Eric, "and don't call me Shirley" ![]() Lighter, stronger, faster. Next get the cross brace bar for the steering rack, update the rack tie rods and then an RS or cup steering wheel.
