Installing 996 Factory Sports Exhaust
Has anyone had any experience installing the 996 factory sports exhaust? I am most concerned with installing the dash switch for the baffles?
Any information on what it takes to do this would be appreciated. Mike |

I've spent a lot of time on the Rennlist (http://boards.rennlist.com/) and there is quite a bit of information on the sport exhaust retrofit. Basically, most recommend the DYI'er to NOT hook up the switch and associated vacuum lines and just run the sport exhaust full time. I understand the exhaust itself is a fairly easy install. I just ordered a C4S with the exhaust installed.
Good luck, Andy |

I agree. It looks to difficult for me so I hired a Porsche mechanic to install the wiring and vacuum. I am going to install the mufflers myself.
Thanks for the reply |
