DFI Dcarbonization

Hi,

Any one has experienced carbon build on intake valves on DFI engine?
What did you do?
What was the cost?
Is decarbonization part of scheduled maintenance on DFI 997 and up engines?
Any ideas to avid carbonizationn of the valves and exhaust system on these engines?
Possible to check the valve with camera probe while engine still in the car?
Is it possible to remove the PVC system and EGR systems to prevent carbon buildup?

Thanks!

I add a 20 oz. bottle of Techron Complete Fuel System Cleaner to the gas tank every 3k miles on my 2012 Carrera S. If you read the product spec sheet, it is formulated for DFI engines.

Thanks,
But the problem is not dirty fuel system,
In DFI engines fuel does not touch the intake valves so carbon builds up on the valves.

I drive mine as intended. After fully warmed up, WOT to red line in 2nd - 4th gear (or faster if you can) as much and often as possible.
