Installing URO Cupholder
 

I found the URO Cupholder replacement part 997 552 294 03 (see attached photo).

Has anyone replaced one before and if you have can you provide any installation tips.

The first question is does the entire dash have to be removed to remove the old cup holder and install the new one?

Or is there a way to remove the exisiting cupholder and replace without removing the dash. Thank you in advance.

I'm not completely certain - but I suspect there are spring clips
that pop up - you may need a flat trim tool to depress these
much like a radio
