QuickJack

Anyone use a 5000TL or 7000tl Quickjack on a 991.2 911? Would like to use it for multiple cars. Thanks!

I have a 5000TL, I have used it on my 991.1 and its fine. I think its almost a tad too long for my 81 911SC but not too bad, you just have to slide it as far forward as you can. Fits my 1997 993 great and my 1967 mustang fastback.

My kids 2007 Toyota 4runner, which is a smallish SUV, I think is the limit. As it's ride height is vastly higher than our cars I needed to add two of their rubber support blocks per corner to get it up enough to pull the transmission and I wasn't totally secure with the setup so I added jackstands. Would I go bigger than that with the 5000, like a GM tahoe etc... probably not.

Like all jacks, I do throw a set of jackstands around the perimeter, loosely touching, if i'm doing any kind of heavy work underneath where I might rock the car a little. Can't be too safe.

Thanks, good to know. Agree on the jackstands as backup.

It's fairly popular with the 911 crowd. We have a thread where they've featured some of the ways they've lifted the car with mounting blocks and such:

QuickJack

Matt, the website says 5000TLX is the correct model quickjack for the Mercedes W213? I have a '23 E350 and want to make sure it will fit. Do you happen to know if I could also use a 5000TLX for a Porsche 991.2?

Hi rjpjr,

I would probably consult our measuring guide if you are unsure: https://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/TOOL/POR_TOOL_QJGUI1-detail.htm

I know people on the forums have fit 964s and 718s and 996 + 997 but you may want to give us a call and see what our sales team knows. 310-626-8765!
