diferences between US and ROW 996's
I currently living in the US and as such considering to buy a 996 in the US. At some point in time I will move back to the EU, so I would like to know what the differences are between a US 996 and ROW 996's. Thanks in advance for advice.

I'm pretty sure that all 996s are the same; that there is no more US/ROW distinction. However, if you're going from the US to the EU you will almost certainly be better off leaving the US car here and buying the equvilent car there, considering the cost of transport, paperwork, and the availability of favorably priced Porsches in the EU.

I believe the 996's in the EU are lighter, not sure but the doors interior safety structure might be deleted, AKA Nader bars. the GT3 comes with options like thinner glass deleted rear seats, Opt. rollbar/ cage etc. lower ride height.
