tank venting valve fault code

Hello, I used the durametric on my '02 996TT and found "tank venting valve" fault code. (cant remember the numbers). Then, I found an open connector laying there with violet and red/blue wire. When, I checked the wiring diagram, it was supposed to be connected to the socket of the tank venting valve.

I had an independent mechanic do a job fixing the water leak and apparently forgot to plug in the tank venting valve connector. The mechanic lives 600 miles away from me.

Can anyone tell me where the socket for the tank venting valve connector is located. would appreciate if you could give me a picture or a diagram.

Thank you very much.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1270030112.jpg

I found the socket. It was on the top side of the engine bay. Plugged the connector right away, plugged in the durametric, and alas- no more fault code. Happy days are here again!!!!SmileWavy
