Spark plug replacement on 997.2

I have a 2009 Carrera Cabriolet that I just bought used with 57k miles on it. I want to do all of the 40k and 60k services to make sure everything is taken care of. Air filters, oil change and serpentine belt are no problem. but, has anyone changed their spark plugs? It looks like I may have to remove the catalytic converter to get to them. Is there a slick way to perform this task? I have looked at 996 and early 997 spark plug replacements, but the direct injection engine seems to make the job more difficult. Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris
