Porsche Crest 2000 996 911 hard to start when hot

Just wondering before I start my checks on this problem , starts and runs very nice and smooth ,shut off after driving for 1/2 hour or hour let sit for 5 min and will turn over fine but no start at times , wait 1/2 hour to a hour fires up fine.never stalls out while driving just a start up issue. battery tested fine , starter seems a little bit slow, but same cold or hot . 2000 911 C4 thanks for any ideas, will post findings and cure.

My car did the same thing. I took it to Porsche 3 times and they could not duplicate the problem. I ended up driving it there when the car was cooking hot and put the service writer in the drivers seat and had him try and start it and the starter barely turned.... bingo new started, covered under my warranty.

Had a similar problem, turned out to be the coolant temp sensor.
