996 seat replacement: help needed
I am the new owner of a 2004 40th Anniversary Edition 911, with the GT3 sport seats. I want to change them out for comfort seats, as this will be a daily driver and the shoulder wrap is too aggressive for me, as well as the headrest being tilted a bit too far back for my liking. The car currently has 2 way power seats, along with the seat warmer option.
Does anyone know if I can put 8 way power seats in this car? I have heard many different things from dealerships, dismantlers, independent mechanics, etc.. is the wiring harness the same no matter what seats you have? I've been told that a lot is involved with the harness, (sensors, air bag, on board computer). I am looking at buying salvaged seats from LA Dismantlers. Any advice is greatly appreciated. |

I have a 2002 996 with black leather heated seats and may be interested in a trade.
Manual slider and electric seat back VG condition...let me know if you are interested. |

thanks for the offer, but I'm not looking to get rid of the sport seats. Would you be willing to sell your seats? Got pix?

40 Jahre 911
Congrats on the acquisition of the 40 Jahre 911! Love to see a few pics of the car and to know what number it is so that I can add her to the 40th Anniversary 911 registry. To see the registry click on this link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/402gqbvsv92uz4l/Is2tIKl-Er
I'm sure you'll love the car (I sure love mine - no. 0711).
