It did lower it about an inch, inch and a half. The ride is stiff and very responsive. Where I live in NY we have two roads that are great, one is the Bear Mountain Parkway and the other is 9W past west point and up storm king mountain. I keep driving them, did it friday, saturday and sunday. Love it.

Don't mean to hi-jack your thread, Robert, but I picked up a set of the Euro clear corner / flashers from Sunset Porsche.
Looks a heck of a lot better than the amber flashers! |
Hack away. Yes it does. If you want it to look better, put LED lights in the Euro clear corners and take the yellow bulb out. Looks great. I'll take a pic and post it. It is thundering and pouring right now. Maybe tomorrow night.

Just put the fabspeed cats and pfister 996 mufflers. Wow what a sound and pick up difference. Next is the Plentum. I just have to let my account recover. Spent a lot of $ in the past few weeks.

So I have been driving my car and with the sound of the exhaust I guess, a bit hard. I noticed that I was burning oil and it would puff on start up. After all the work I did ended up blowing my AOS. It wasn't as bad as what people say here. I didn't have continues smoke, it would happen for about 10 seconds right after start up. The big clue was the burning oil. I went through 3 liters in 800 miles. I read my butt off here and Rennlist and not a lot of people talk about burning oil. I took the cap off of my oil filler and it sounded like I open a bottle of soda. Then the car would almost stall and run like crap. Before I use to hear just a steady light suction sound. I put my hand on the filler tube and it had a very strong suction now like a vacuum.
So back to the shop it went. The messed up thing was when they were doing the clutch I saw the separator and I asked because I read all the time, should they just change it since its there. They said that they would but it was back ordered at Porsche and I opted to leave it so I could have my car back. So they installed it and I've had my car for two days. Drove it nicely yesterday and about 200 miles. No smoke on start up and oil level stayed the same. All that is left now is just to respray the front bumper cover because all the nicks and maybe the hood and then 3M clear wrap the hood and fenders. Then done. Car is 100%. I do have to say that the M030 suspension is great up here but had to go to NYC yesterday and those roads are nuts and you can feel every pot hole. Still I don't drive much in the NYC so no worries. Ok. I traded my car in for a twin turbo. So who ever is looking for a nice 2002 C4 cab. Here you go. I don't know what they did with the hard top. Used 2002 Porsche 911 for Sale in West Nyack NY 10994 Rockland Motors
They don't know what they have. It has a 3.8 upgrade new clutch and suspension all brakes short shift kit 997 shifter kenwood nav system. BBS rims just redone. New AOS new starter, led side lights just had a compression and leak down test and the compression showed 265 to 270 across the board and leak down wa 97 to 98 % across the board. New plugs and coil packs in the last 1000 miles. The place has no idea all the work they just wanted to dump the 996 turbo they had because it was going to auction. I jumped on it and traded my car. So who ever is local in NY great deal!!!! |
