Convertible headliner issues... 2003 C4

Hey all!

I just picked up a 2003 C4 Cabrio. Its in perfect condition, except that the top is "loose". The roof seals completely, but there are pieces of the headliner just kinda hanging in the car above the back triangle windows.

Is there a resource to find out how the top is supposed to be? Maybe someone can forward/post of picture of their correctly installed top?

I would appreciate it!

Best,
Bill

...Or maybe you could do your own due dillgence and post a pic of your top and ask for recommendations.

P.S. There is a search function in all forums.

Hey!

Thanks for the advice. I've been doing quite a bit of due "diligence" trying to fix it myself. And since we are having a wonderful spring snow storm here in Colorado, I wasn't able to go out and take photos... until now!

Anyway, the search (of not only Pelican but google in general) didn't help much.

Not sure if these photos will help or hurt the issue, but here we go!

I had a new top put on my 2000 cab today, they used the old headliner.
I can take some pics but even after reading the FAQs on how to post pics I can't seem to get it to work on this board (no problems on Renntech, 6 speed, etc...) If you want to PM your email address I can send them.

Hate to bump such an old thread, but I am having the exact same issues with a 2002 911 I just bought.

Maybe the original poster can post an update, or has anyone else had the same problems?

I have searched for a few hours, but not finding anything really helpful on either what the top interior should look like, or how to fix.
