Questions about over-revs in DME report

A friend is looking at a 2011 GTS and got a DME report as part of a PPI. It showed a 180 over-revs in the 3-4 range. Is this cause for significant concern?

From the Durametric website:
The 6 ranges can be broken down as:
Range 1: 7300-7500 U/min
Range 2: 7500-7700 U/min
Range 3: 7700-7900 U/min
Range 4: 7900-8400 U/min
Range 5: 8400-9500 U/min
Range 6: 9500-11000 U/min

I would say that is reason for concern.

Certainly reason for more investigation.
How long ago? 100 engine hours ago? Engine still strong with good hot oil pressure and no strange noises, not so bad.
Within the last couple of hours? Not good.

Not unless he is still thinking about buying it.
