Soon to be 1st time owner!
Hi all,
I'm flying from San Diego to Miami to purchase a 2011 Targa 4S from a non Porsche dealer who just added it to their inventory . The car has 16000 miles on it and 3 owners who each put on about 5000 miles. Clean Carfax which I know is very subjective. Have a friend in Fla that knows Porsche's drive it and look it over and all seems clean to him. No PPI done. Any concerns or thoughts that come to mind. Much appreciated! Hal |

Congratulations! I'm waiting for this to be delivered Tuesday, from Tampa, although an epic winter storm is winding down here. 12+ inches. I had a PPI done as it wss at a used car dealer. The company that did ppi was so enamoured by it the put it on their FB page BEFORE I competed the deal! I was satisfied with their inspection, but disappointed with their customer privacy etiquette.
2 owner 2003 Targa with X51 power kit, PSE, full carbon interior, M030 suspension, GT3 aerokit....a real unicorn.

Gorgeous,. Almost has a blueish tint to it viewing from my Samsung phone.
I'm sitting back having a couple cold ones with this one before she leaves tomorrow. 17 years of fun! Hope the new one is as fun.

WOW, she's BEAUTIFUL! I wanted to purchase another air cooled but the prices where just too high for me to justify it. Here's some pictures of my old 77 I sold it a few years ago. I keep kicking myself about having sold it as it was really a keeper and setup perfect. I posted it here in Pelican and it was sold in less than a week. I purchased it with the 3.2 in it but had to get it smog certified (which was somewhat of a problem) because of the newer engine.

Great replies. Beautiful cars. I land tomorrow at 4:30, at the dealer in Miami by 5:30, sign paperwork and on the road by 6:30. Wish I was driving back to San Diego, what a great experience that would. It'll have to wait though. Enclosed car carrier picks up the car hopefully on Friday and makes its way west in 2 weeks. I'll be patently waiting.
