Oil Tank Heater Blanket
Last night I installed an oil tank heater blanket on my 16 qt aftermarket oil tank.
I was having trouble getting the oil temp to come up with so much oil, it took it forever to warm up. So after installing the blanket it warmed the oil from 60 to about 104 in about 10 minutes (measured with a pyrometer). The one I bought was 3in x 25 in, 375 watts. Just thought I'd share. It seems to work OK. The one I have basically glues to the side of the tank. Brian l
