Any one convert there older 911 to a 996 rear suspension?

I am trying to find a shop, pictures or any one who has converted there old style trailing arm suspensions to a more modern 996 or 993 multilink setup on there race car.
I have read about it before and know it has been done but I can't find the information. The search feature did not produce any information.
Any info or help here would be appreciated.

Do a search for MT912RS username. He is the only one that has shown this type of conversion. Everything was custom fabbed.

A few ideas:

or this one

This "1972 Targa" (!) uses a 993 Rear Multilink suspension.

It is not too difficult but you need to do quite a few mods. The result is stunning. Would only do it on a racecar - too much work for a street car.

If you decide to go this route I can send more details.

Thanks guys for the information. I have enough now that I have decided to go ahead with it. I am going with a 996 rear suspension and will post some pics when it is complete.

He did rear wishbones, but I don't believe he used any 993/996 parts. Perhaps that's why you said "everything was custom fabbed" (this includes the wishbones)
