AX'd a Corvette Z06 this weekend

Been going thru withdrawls since selling my C2, Neighbor friend who I introduced to AX at a PCA event asked to co-drive his 2003 Z06 at a SCCA event this sunday. Holly Horsepower Batman! Running super stock so it's relatively unmolested except for Khumos and lowering. Never been much of 'vette fan but I gotta say it was quite the ride. Gobs of torque, it just leaps when you stomp the go pedal. Plowed thru the first slalom gate cones - lol - guess its a little wider than the old C2? After that 3 clean runs brought me down into respectable time range, each run being markedly faster than the last. If I weren't a P-car guy I'd get one of these fun for funning around in, crap it was fast!
