Proper Wear
I just got a set of Toyo Ra1's a completed my first event with them.
Any way, when I was at the track , one of the guy there was looking at his new tires as well. He look at them and said " I very happy with my new tires, they feel great .And they are wearing correctly .....good" How do you know if the tire is wearing correctly? what is done if they are not? What are the proper tire pressure's for the tires? Thanks

Pressures for RA1's .... you'll get different responses. Officially I believe that Toyo recommends mid 30's hot, we run them at high 20's hot with good results.
Another thing to consider is that the layout of the track varies the temps you'll be using. For a perfect setup (or close to anyway) you will not have both front (or rear) tires at the same cold pressures. Remember you are shooting for hot pressures. This is a very summarized statement and a lot has to do with car setup, driver style, track conditions, ambient temps, expected longevity of the tires, shaved or not, ......

Also, temps will be affected by your in-lap so you must measure ASAP when you come in and when having a hot lap (not after a cool down) if you wish to get the best data.
