cleaning-restoring a lexan windsheild
I bought a car with a lexan windsheild. The car has been sitting uncovered, outside for a year and the lexan is dirty, etc. Can it be cleaned, restored, or should I just trash it and buy a new one($400+)

A variable speed buffer, fine cut buffing goop & a soft foam pad do wonders for my plexiglass. Total cost under 150 bucks if you don't have one. Soap & water wash first.

There are the three Novus products that can be used (eg: http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecId=2711 ) I'd try them first and you will likely use them on the new window anyway. I like the Plexus spray for cleaning between sessions and getting the rubber splats off.
