Wow, your shots are better than mine! What kind of media pass did you have to get right up to the cars (no fence) in so many turns? I could only hang out on the bridge.

No special access - just doing a lot of walking to find good spots.
Sorry - no F430 action shots. (Needed to get my own car on the track for the lunchtime laps so that it wouldn't feel left out.) This is as close as I have for the F430:  A few others:

Was it just me ?... It seemed to me like there were significantly fewer cars there at Fontana this year.
However it was still a good event with some nice racing. |

Excellent shots. I remember #352 didnt start at the front but he sure worked his way up there. Great passing on the infield. Great bunch of cars too bad about the upside down financially part. Hopefully it won't deter the promoters from bringing it back next year.

 I didn't qualify for Sunday (Major back problems) so I was gridded 27th and finished 3rd. THAT was fun!!! Saturday I qualified 4th, picked up 1 by T3 and gave it back to finish 4th, kind of a snoozer. ALWAYS a great time. I HIGHLY reccommend anyone who tracks their car to enter this event. It's a big smooth track, kinda hard to get in trouble and easy access for spectators.

What was the entry fee for this event? Thats what kept me from going last year- it was way too much $.
