WTB: Racing seat for a Lemons car
Looking for a used seat to go into our 1978 Porsche 924 Lemons racer. Doesn't have to be in date, as we will get a back brace.
Anyone? Located in AZ. Thanks for the help! Keith

Humor me:
Why does it not have to be in-date if you have a back brace? Never heard this before.

Talk to your local short track guys. They have all the good cheap seats.

The idea of the back brace is so that the seat doesn't fall backwards in the event of a rear-end collision, rendering the harnesses ineffective. Having a back brace further ensures that this won't happen. Older seats have a higher risk of failing this way, apparently. And RFN, I am working all possibilities, but so far have come up with nothing. (Nice Lemons car, BTW) Have one?

I use a back brace on all my seats. It secures the seat that much better. You get absolutely no seat movement. You'll be surprised how much of difference it makes. Not that we can pull many g-forces with out LeMons cars.
