Ya know, I've never seen a used one for sale. There's some specials on new ones right now and they come with the helmet mounts. You never know what's happened to a used safety item like this. I don't know if I'd stick my neck out on a used one

Many types of racing safety products are sold with tight ranges of average selling prices. If there is a range at all.

Used HANS devices do show up in various places from time to time, or one may identify local racers who are retired or long dormant but not actively listing perfectly good products for sale. Networking can be your friend here.

Congrats with your HANS purchase. One thing I discovered when I bought mine and installed it back in 2006 was the critical nature of the seat height relative to the shoulder belt attachment point. Hubbard Downing are very specific about this. I initially installed mine in a way that was outside of their specs as I did not want to lower my seat or raise my cage horizontal. Ooops. When all strapped in and on track, I could not breathe. So I lowered my seat to get to the right specs.
