Originally a 1973.5 2.4L CIS; now has a 1979 911SC 3.0L
Eng. from Dart in Colorado with apx 67K on engine; very strong with Carrera pressure feed on tensioners. Also has updated mag-case 8:31 trans from Dart. The engine is stock except for straight pipe with no catalyst. Brakes are original S alloy brakes. 24.1mm torsion bar in rear. Original S type sway bars front & rear. Neatrix bushings added. Front end has new ball joints and tie rod ends. Car is black but was originally signal yellow. Paint is OK but not great. Front bumper is fiberglas. Small acid holes in area of outer stamping between front suspension mounts. I have the piece and it will be repaired prior to the sale. Chassis has apx 160K on it now. Aftermarket reclining sport seats and new black headliner. New Blaupunkt AM/FM/CD. Wipers park on right & can be changed back if required. Very strong & quick. No sunroof. Straight enough to use as is or build into RS replica. Asking $15,000 or best offer.

Shouldn't this be in Cars For Sale, not Parts For Sale?

I believe this is the same car "techwennie" had for sale on this forum last year. If you are the new owner, have you done anything to it since purchase? Great looking car!

Yes. I see pm. Minor clean up, etc. Now has stock tires/Fuchs wheels. The piece in the front under the battery area/suspension mount will be repaired prior to the sale.

They totally should have made the Prototipos the stock wheel on these cars. They just don't look right to me without one!

For those who are looking for a nice 73'. I saw this car a week ago. Really quite a nice car. Engine runs well, car drives nice. This car is a perfect candidate for minimal minor clean up and one would have a great looking car with a newer motor. If I didn't have one, I'd be giving this a very hard look.

For sure. I have driven it to Los Angeles twice and around on shorter trips. It drives very strong and has no mechanical issues.
