You can buy very nice low mileage 76-77 930's in the low 20's. If you find the right buyer you might get something in the mid to high 20's. The early 930's don't have the following of the later big brake intercooled models.

there was/is a very nice looking '79 930 on this board recently ( it may still be on the second or 3rd page) for $21k.

Funny you should mention the rubber. All doors shut tight, rubber looks new if not maintained. PO had $2800 in service done recently (not sure of HOW recent) towards seals and ??
Paint is original with a few rock chips and the sunroof has marks (scrapes) from opening. Car is better than a "number 2" car. Interior is very sharp. I have photos on my inbox but can't post to forum. It's my best friend's new aquisition sitting in his show room. Thanks for your thoughts. Jerry

That car is maximum low $20s... and that is before subtraction after a thorough going over and PPI. $35k is a dream that will not come true anytime soon.

I think that $35,000 could be reasonable for a car like that, with less than 10,000 miles, assuming that it's all documented.

Correction: I thought is was 94k miles, not 9400.

I think a seller could get $35K for that car if it is as represented, marketed like mad, and the seller has a little patience waiting for the right buyer.

Noah, I don't think that your response explains 356 prices.

The early 930 have not been elevated to collector status yet, but in due couse they will. Hell if people will pay 150K for an RS or 35 K for an early S anything can happen.

Agreed, I just bought my first 930. It is a great car but motor has been modified and it has a G50 both of which make an enormous difference in how car drives. I don't know how many of the arly 930 were build could not have been that many. You can buy a pretty nice one in the mid to high teens. I think for that kind of money it is a hell of a car.

How many 930 were made in 77? There can't be many out there with 9,000 miles on it.
This car seems okay, the seats seem a little worn for only 9,000 miles. Go look at it, if you like it, comes out with a good PPI, and you can afford it, jump on it. Michael

With only 9,xxx miles on it, this is not a car any more, it's an automotive baseball card. It's an oddity that is worth what someone will pay. You would be a fool to buy this 930 at anywhere near that price if you intend to actually drive it. Seal it in plastic and put it on your mantle

Good point. I don't have the $$ to throw around and buy something I'm afraid to drive. Geez, nice car though.
