Can Factory 2-Piece Rotors Be Machined/Turned - 2006 Cayenne Turbo S

Hey guys, so I need some input on my Mom’s 2006 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.

It has the 2 piece rotors, and the front/rear shake under braking and obviously need to be resurfaced. According to a “mechanic”, these rotors could not be resurfaced. It seemed pretty odd to me that they can’t be resurfaced but I have yet to find a definite answer on the internet.

To clarify, the brakes are NOT cross drilled or slotted, and they do not have a lip on the outer edge of the rotor (indicating excessive rotor wear) so I’m not sure why they are unable to be resurfaced. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated!

don't know, however u can now get rotors for about 500+ a side.

Ultimately I was trying to avoid that expense of rotors lol...
