2012 Cayenne has loud fuel smell

Hi guys/gals. My 958 2012 has a very bad fuel smell when I walk by it. I haven't driven the car for a few weeks because of this. It's near the rear seats so maybe something with the two fuel pumps. Anyone have this issue before. I know the older 955 has issues with flange, but do the newer 958s have this issue too? It's a pretty stong smell too. Thanks

It sounds like the same/similar issue.

My 06 Cayenne S has the fuel pump gaskets crack and that was the source of the leak/odor. There was a recall for it, dealer fixed mine but it’s an easy DIY and gaskets were inexpensive. Take all safety precautions and disconnect battery.
