04 cayenne s. Front differential going south with loud grinding. Possibly a bearing. can I use a front differential from an 04 cayenne turbo that had a mt. Any gear ratio difference. plz help. Thx

#1 Step. Recommend check Front Diff Fluid level. May be Low or Has Sheared.(Done). Drain and Refill to top drain plug with 75w-90 gear lube GL5. Service every 25-30K miles.

also PET has 3 different Final drive Ratios (3.7:1, 4.10:1 and 4.56:1) biased on model year and drive train options. Verify at Local Dealer (need Vin). also see pelican 955 Cayenne Help...

Fluid change did it for me, much quieter and feels better.
