04 cayenne s. Front differential going south with loud grinding. Possibly a bearing. can I use a front differential from an 04 cayenne turbo that had a mt. Any gear ratio difference. plz help. Thx

#1 Step. Recommend check Front Diff Fluid level. May be Low or Has Sheared.(Done). Drain and Refill to top drain plug with 75w-90 gear lube GL5. Service every 25-30K miles. also PET has 3 different Final drive Ratios (3.7:1, 4.10:1 and 4.56:1) biased on model year and drive train options. Verify at Local Dealer (need Vin). also see pelican 955 Cayenne Help... Later... |
Fluid change did it for me, much quieter and feels better.
