Saw my first Cayene!

Was just parking my 951 up outside the house when I heard a pretty hefty burble coming from behind as I got out and looked over my shoulder I saw a Black cayene turbo roll by....

I have to say it looks pretty damn good (metallic black) To make it even better the the guy turned round and parked up. I couldn't help myself so I ambled up and said hi.

Turned out that the co driver worked for Porsche UK and was demonstrating it to a prospective buyer. He let me have a good look and admire it.

I don't think it will ever replace a 944 (or 911 heheheh) for ultimate sportscar thrills but I think I could find some room for one to use as a family driver hahahhahahahahahaha

Alot of people say it looks dull. In the flesh I reckon its pretty good (in the right colour). If I was being cruel I could say it isn't very pretty from the front. If I was being kind I would saw it was a case of function over form. All the grills and vents are there to allow cooling to engine and front discs when you are storming up the autobahn. (according to the salesman)

Reading on this board the general view is fairly negative and that it shouldn't have been done. Lets hope it sells and makes lots of money for Porsche. THen they can invest more in producing even better coupes maybe even get back into motorsport, I for one would love to see a factory Porsche win Le Mans

Remember this is just an opinion I don't want to get shot down in flames.

What do you guys think
