2018 Macan GTS Brakes
Hi,
I find that my Macan brakes are average compared to other Porsches I own or have driven. I flushed the fluid and it did help a bit, but I still find them so so. I checked the pads and they are getting lower, but still have meat on them and I will measure the rotors this weekend. I know I should do the upgrade to newer pads and rotors at some point so I started looking on our host and found a few things that I had questions about. I was hoping to find slotted or drilled rotors but our host only has drilled for the rear; no fronts? I could do to heavy duty ECS rotors, but I'm not tracking this thing, so I was wondering why only drilled rears? As far as pads go I have had good luck with Textar and I know Pagid makes good pads too, but there are no matching sets for front and rear (I am not paying Porsche markup). I have never used different pads front to rear, so I was wondering why these companies would only make a front or a rear, and if there are concerns about different F/R pads? Thoughts? Thanks
