2008 V6 957 Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement?
 

My temp gauge has stopped working and suspect it is the coolant temperature sensor so ordered a new one from pelican but when I located what I believe is the sensor on the driver side near the firewall, the sensor looks like it needs to be threaded in and not held in place with a clip like the replacement

Is this the correct sensor?

Found it! it was not this one, it was a little further back and down.
